Our Gala is Drawing Near!

Our second annual fundraising “It Matters to that One Gala” is drawing near! The gala will help to boost support for our fundraising efforts including our $1000 from 1000 campaign.

The now sold-out event was such a benefit last October, and this year is looking to be the same. We look forward to being able to showcase all the passion and heart of our sponsors and volunteers with all their hard work in achieving our goal of providing underage female victims with a safe home.

Gregg and Shawnee Hammer

Radio personalities Gregg and Shawnee Hammer from Krater 96.3 will be our emcees for the night while Ben Vegas and Maila Gibson will provide music entertainment. “As $1000 from 1000 sustaining donors, Gregg and I are excited and honored to emcee the Hoʻōla Nā Pua ‘It Matters to that One’ Gala 2015!” Shawnee shared with us. “It is a cause that is close to both our hearts. We are so encouraged by the work of Hoʻōla Nā Pua and are blessed to know that we helped, in a small way, to save women and girls.”

The gala will with a cocktail reception and pupu, where there will be many ways for attendees to give even more by participating in our Wine Pool, Star Wall, Lucky Star Draw, and other activities with benefits going directly to the home. Artist and painter Katie Small will also provide a live painting performance for guests to enjoy. After, there will be a gourmet buffet dinner followed by a presentation by our President Jessica Munoz highlighting our achievements from this past year and what more we need to do. Throughout the night there will be Lucky Star draws, live auctions, and other opportunities to give to the cause.
