Whether you have volunteered, are now ready to get involved, or just signed up, if you have NOT YET attended a volunteer orientation & advocate training, we encourage you to join us.
Steps to becoming a volunteer and to attending this volunteer orientation & advocate training:
This particular volunteer orientation & advocate training consists of two parts as you may have already had the CSEC Training = Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children offered this same morning:
1. A brief overview of Hoʻōla Nā Pua
2. Introduction to Volunteerism and how you can help
Light refreshments will be provided.
There will be a brief meeting afterward for anyone interested in Advocacy, Education, Mentoring, Grants, Event Planning, and Fundraising. Volunteer Orientation & Advocate Training is required for all volunteers, and provides you with a great opportunity to: Meet team leaders and fellow volunteers; Hear updates about our latest milestones and projects; Get involved in our community and church outreach campaign “Awareness with Purpose”; Develop community and business partnerships.
