Pearl Haven: A program of Hoʻōla Nā Pua

HONOLULU (HI Now) – PEARL HAVEN, is a premier Special Treatment Facility (STF) that opened in the Spring of 2021. Pearl Haven’s 32-bed, residential treatment program, is the first of its kind in Hawaii, designed to provide trauma-informed therapeutic services for youth ages 11-17, who have complex trauma or are diagnosed with Serious Emotional and Behavioral Disturbances (SEBD) as a result of likely sexual exploitation or trafficking.

Ho’ōla Nā Pua’s vision for Pearl Haven is to provide safety, reconnection, and comprehensive behavioral health services for the youth in residence. With the specialized training of its faculty, the individualized treatment programs for each resident, and the healing therapeutic environment of its serene campus, Pearl Haven will transform lives by providing specialized services for our most vulnerable youth.
