Jessica Munoz, a nurse who witnessed the trauma and injustice children endured in the emergency room, saw innocent victims treated like criminals—voiceless and stripped of their dignity. Unable to ignore their suffering, Jessica knew she had to act. From that moment, a deep well of compassion ignited a fire within her to bring hope and healing to those who needed it most.

From this compassion, Ho’ōla Nā Pua was born. What began as a small flicker of determination grew into a powerful movement to protect, heal, and restore. Jessica’s unwavering belief that every child deserves a chance at healing laid the foundation for an organization that shines a light on the dark issue of child sexual exploitation. Her courage built a community of advocates and supporters, offering safety, love, and a future to children who had been abused.
