A member of our team will work with you to ensure that your fundraiser is a success by promoting your event (e.g. website and social media, if applicable) and providing you with informational materials about our organization to be shared at your event (optional).

Below are examples of fundraising ideas that other volunteers have used to support Hoʻōla Nā Pua:
- Proceeds from products/services of an existing business—if you currently have a business, consider donating a portion of your proceeds from a specific product/service or for a specific time period
- “Dinner for 8”- host a dinner at your home and invite 6–8 of your friends with the focus of generating financial support for Hoʻōla Nā Pua
- Car wash
- Bake sale
- Clothing donation drive (e.g. Cash for Clothes program)
- Golf tournament

How Donations from Fundraisers are Used:
Donations to Hoʻōla Nā Pua support Health, Education, Advocacy and Reintegration, which includes our Starfish mentorship program and sustains ongoing operating and Pearl Haven site development costs. Our Federal ID number (EIN) is 46-5139164. Your gift may be 100% deductible from your taxable income.
